How I approach couples photography sessions

Couples and engagement sessions are one of my favorite ways to spend an hour: the two of you, wherever you feel most like yourselves.

I'll guide you through a few easy prompts to start, a spot to stand, something to talk about, then step back and let the real thing happen: the inside joke, the hand on the small of your back, the way you look at each other in the in-between-moments.

Whether we're celebrating a fresh engagement, a milestone anniversary, or simply the fact that you're the two of you, I'll be there to catch it.

Here’s what the Process looks like…

From your inquiry to falling in love (with your photos)

1. Consultation

After you inquire, we'll chat about your vision, your favorite spots, and what kind of session feels right for you.

2. Planning

Once we're set, I’ll help you pick a location, guide you with your outfit choices, and choose the perfect time for light and glow. If this is a surprise proposal, we'll go over every detail ahead of time so nothing feels rushed in the moment.

3. Session Day

We'll meet up (or I’ll hide in the bushes), ease into it together, and spend our time somewhere you actually love: a hike, your favorite coffee shop, or splashin’ around in the waves on the shore.

Inquire with Zoe

  • Yes, this is a safe space for ALL love! Being inclusive of all sexualities and gender identities is deeply important to me. Your love story matters and deserves to be celebrated.

  • I deliver a minimum of 50 photos an hour, but I will never cap your gallery at a number and hold any photos hostage.

  • With the film photography add-on, you can expect film images sprinkled in alongside digital photos. I typically use about one roll of film (36 photos) every hour to hour and a half, depending on the pace and moments of the day.

  • The short answer is no. If you feel like I left something out of your gallery, please let me know! I will never hold images hostage on purpose.

  • Your images are delivered via an online gallery where you can download, favorite, and share with friends and family. Prints and albums can also be ordered directly from your gallery.

  • Sessions: 3-4 weeks
